Cook Time 20 minutes mins
- 4 boneless salmon fillets 3-4 ounces each - can be either skinless or skin on depending on your preference
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- salt
- black pepper
- 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons tamari or low sodium soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Prepare salmon glaze by mixing real maple syrup, tamari, sesame oil, garlic powder, and ginger powder together in a small bowl. Set aside.
Heat up oven safe pan (such as cast iron) and drizzle olive oil in.
Once pan is hot, place salmon fillets top side down. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Let fillets brown for about 2 minutes. Flip and allow them to brown on underside for another 2 minutes.
Pour 3/4 of salmon glaze evenly over each fillet in the pan. Place pan in preheated oven and bake salmon at 375 degrees F for 8 - 10 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and flakes with a fork.
Allow cooked salmon to rest 2-3 minutes and then drizzle remaining maple glaze over the salmon before serving.
