irst, in a small bowl or 2 cup glass measure cup, pour in chicken broth and whisk in flour. Grate cheese. Set both aside.
Heat olive oil in saucepan over medium-low heat. Add in minced garlic and cook until fragrant, stirring occasionally - usually takes about a minute.
Pour in broth & flour mixture, followed by heavy whipping cream, salt, and pepper. Whisk.
Bring the mixture to a simmer. Whisk simmering sauce frequently until mixture has thickened.
Reduce heat to low and add in parmesan cheese. Whisk until cheese has melted.
Cool slightly and enjoy over your favorite pasta.
