HAMBURGER GRAVY
This hamburger gravy takes about 20 minutes to cook, making it an easy dinner. Layer it over a slice of homemade bread covered with mashed potatoes and it's comfort food heaven!!

- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 small onion or 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/3 c. flour
- 2 c. beef broth
- salt & pepper to taste
Chop up onion into small pieces (if using).
Fry hamburger & onion in skillet with a little water. Break up hamburger into pieces as it cooks, until browned.
Drain water and fat off.
In a medium bowl, pour 2 cups beef broth. Then, whisk flour into broth until combined. Add broth mixture to skillet with drained meat.
Sprinkle in salt & pepper to taste. Measure out onion powder and add that now if using instead of chopped onion.
Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until broth has thickened.
