Cheeseburger Pizza

Ingredients
  

Pizza Sauce:

  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon mayo

Pizza Toppings:

  • 1 pound ground beef (cooked, drained, and seasoned as you would a burger)
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion (or 1/4 teaspoon onion powder mixed with ground beef)
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles, chopped
  • 3 strips cooked bacon optional
  • 8 ounces shredded cheese (mozzarella cheese &/or mild cheddar)

Instructions
 

Make the Dough

  • Start by preparing your Homemade Pizza Dough. Follow the steps in the recipe to mix, knead, and shape your dough. Once it’s ready, form it into your pizza crust and prebake it while you prep the toppings.

Prepare the Sauce

  • In a small bowl, whisk together ketchup, mustard, and mayo.
  • Set the sauce aside until you’re ready to assemble.

Assemble the Pizza

  • Spread the prepared sauce evenly over your prebaked crust.
  • Add the cooked ground beef, scattering it evenly across the top, followed by onions, pickles, and bacon (optional). End with a layer of mozzarella cheese.

Bake

  • Transfer the pizza back to your oven.
  • Bake until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling (about 12 – 15 minutes depending on your oven).

Slice and Serve

  • Let the pizza cool for a minute or two, then slice it up and enjoy the best of both comfort food worlds.

Add Optional Cheeseburger Toppings

  • Once the pizza is plated, you can add your favorite burger toppings like a drizzle of ketchup or mustard, shredded iceberg lettuce, jalapeño slices, or fresh tomatoes (sliced). Add whatever gives you that perfect cheeseburger finish!
