BEST HOMEMADE WAFFLES WITH NO MILK OR DAIRY - EASY TO MAKE

Servings 14 waffles using 1/3 cup batter per waffle

Ingredients
  

  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 tbsp. white sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/3 c. water
  • 1/2 c. avocado oil
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • a drizzle of honey makes them golden brown
  • cooking spray

Instructions
 

  • Start by preheating waffle iron.
  • In a large bowl, combine all the dry ingredients and whisk them together. Set this mixture aside.
  • In separate small bowl, crack both eggs and beat them until the egg whites and yolks are fully mixed.
  • Pour all the wet ingredients, including the beaten eggs, into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Whisk the waffle batter until it is smooth and free of any small lumps.
  • Once waffle iron is heated up and ready to cook, spray iron with cooking spray.
  • Pour the batter into the preheated waffle iron, adhering to the manufacturer's instructions for recommended quantity on your specific model (mine produces four waffles at a time, using 1/3 cup of batter for each).
  • Cook waffles until they are golden brown. Serve right away.
